Two Projects Shortlisted for New Store Award

The Retail Gazette recently announced the shortlist for The Retail Excellence Awards 2026, and we’re pleased to share that not one, but two of our projects have been shortlisted in the New Store of the Year category.

Our longstanding clients, B&Q and WHSmith, are in the running, with the winner to be announced on the awards evening of 14th October.

Tradepoint Barking Exterior at night

B&Q’s shortlisted project is its new Tradepoint store in Barking, the DIY retailer’s first standalone Tradepoint offering, which usually operates within its standard B&Q store format.

To mark the occasion, the store features two 17-metre-wide, logo-only illuminated flex faces, guaranteeing local presence.

For WHSmith, as part of our ongoing work updating their UK travel estate, we installed over 450 individual letters at Heathrow Airport, many of them in the shortlisted Terminal 5 one-stop shop.

Both projects brought their own challenges, but the results strongly exemplify our team’s hard work and dedication.

In our eyes, both projects are deserving winners, and we wish WHSmith, B&Q, and all our other shortlisted customers the best of luck on awards night.
