B&Q, Tradepoint Barking
Supporting B&Q with the launch of its first standalone Tradepoint store.
The Project
As a new concept store for B&Q and their first standalone Tradepoint offering, this project called for bold and unforgettable signage to mark the occasion.
The Solution
To ensure this store couldn’t be missed, we manufactured and installed over 280 square metres of flex face signage across the store’s east, north, and west elevations.
The two Tradepoint flex faces each measure 17 metres wide and feature striking logo-only illumination, creating a high-contrast print finish that stands out even in low light.
Inside, we installed a suspended sign with timber-effect beams housing internally illuminated built-up letters, which zone the workwear area with a premium finish.
As the free-standing signage required groundworks, this project needed additional permits and planning—no problem for our in-house planning team and fully qualified fixing crews.
The Result
A high-quality project was delivered for B&Q on schedule, and they widely celebrated the launch as a landmark in their expansion plans.
The store has since been shortlisted for New Store of the Year 2026 at the Retail Gazette’s Retail Excellence Awards.
