Greens Attends Foundations Live 2025
We were excited to attend Foundations Live at Bishop Burton College, the annual event that brings together businesses, educators, and learners to celebrate innovation and address the construction skills gap.
Hosted by our friends at Hobson & Porter, alongside partners MKM Building Supplies, CITB, and Bishop Burton College, we joined Hull Training and Adult Education’s Mike Gooch to inspire the next generation to explore the fantastic Sign Making Apprenticeship.
The event featured interactive workshops, industry demonstrations, and networking opportunities to help attendees learn more about the diverse career paths available in the construction industry.
It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the importance of vocational training and apprenticeships in addressing the sector's skills shortage.
By showcasing the hands-on nature of the apprenticeship, we engaged with students and highlighted the practical skills they could develop.
The event was a great success in promoting the value of vocational education and encouraging young people to consider a career in construction.
Overall, it served as a valuable platform for bridging the gap between education and industry, paving the way for future generations of skilled construction and manufacturing workers.
