Greens awarded Supplier of the Year by WHSmith
We’re proud to have been awarded WHSmith’s Supplier of the Year at their 2024 Store Development Conference!
WHSmith has commended the quality of our signage, customer service, and pace of delivery, which contributed to us winning this award for the second consecutive year.
We've supported the brand with a wide range of projects throughout 2023/2024, including installations in challenging retail environments such as airports which require careful planning and coordination.
UK Rail Locations
A key project we supported WHSmith with in 2024 was the development of their UK Travel retail sites in King’s Cross, Charing Cross and York rail stations, where we installed a combination of face and halo-illuminated letter sets.
Suspended tension-frame graphics imitating skylights are featured in the King’s Cross and Charing Cross stores, creating an airy atmosphere. WHSmith’s vision was brought to life through research and development at Greens to achieve a realistic yet impactful effect.
Spreading colour around the UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands
In terms of scale, our biggest project was the roll-out of Toy’R’Us ‘shop-in-shops’ in existing WHSmith high street sites, having completed over 60 across the UK, Ireland, and the Channel Islands last year.
Supporting the launch of a new brand
We have also supported WHSmith with the launch of their new hospitality brand, District Market Coffee, by installing eye-catching signage across their two Sheffield-based hospital locations.
This included digi-print wallpapers, vinyl details, and was completed with a stand out feature: an internally illuminated roundel.
