B&Q (Ex-Homebase Stores)
B&Q chose Greens to carry out the transformation of eight former Homebase units across the UK and Ireland, adopting the brand's new store model within a quick turnaround.
With years of experience supporting B&Q in refreshing their existing retail estate signage and opening new stores, we were thrilled to be trusted with rebranding their recently acquired eight ex-Homebase units.
Beginning in the UK, we completed the Altrincham, Basingstoke, Biggleswade, Leamington Spa and Worcester stores.
Then it was over to Ireland to work on their Navan, Letterkenny, and Waterford locations.
We adhered to a checklist of essential signage, adapting these to each site’s specific requirements.
External Signage
We installed new internally-illuminating flex face boxes alongside flat cut and tray aluminium entrance signs featuring powder coat finishes and vinyl details. The external signage concluded with car park directional signage.
Internal Signage
Every store included a paint swatch installation suspended on aluminium rails above the paint mixing station, complemented by internally-illuminated opal acrylic built-up ‘Paint Mixing’ letter sets.
All 8 acquired stores opened and trading under the B&Q banner in less than 7 weeks... Thanks to everyone involved both our B&Q teams as well as our external partners you've been amazing.
