Halfords Fusion

Consolidating Halfords' estate, transforming over 100 stores with new external and internal signage from Fort William to Canterbury.

Over 21 months, Greens supported the transformation of more than 100 sites across the UK as Halfords consolidated its estate, integrating National Tyres locations into the wider Halfords network.

Installing from Canterbury to Fort William

The programme involved updating existing Halfords stores to the latest brand guidelines, rebranding National Tyres branches and, in some cases, merging the two formats to create larger garage services locations.

Given the scale of the rollout, careful planning and coordination were essential. Our installation teams worked alongside multiple trades to ensure each site remained on schedule while maintaining a consistent pace of delivery across the country.

External Solutions

Externally, the project featured folded-tray signage with powder-coated finishes and applied vinyl branding, installed across store fascias, external elevations and existing totem structures. These are cost-effective yet hard-wearing solutions that can quickly transform a building's facade.

Internal Signage

Within the garages, we delivered a range of branded elements, including tension-frame graphics and poster frames. Both of these are easy to update with relevant marketing materials to reflect promotions or seasonal celebrations. Team Greens also built bespoke TV stand units using Foamex and Acrylic with flat-cut letters, creating a premium finish in the reception area.

The result was a nationwide rebrand programme delivered at scale, helping Halfords create a consistent customer experience across more than 100 locations.
